About this show:
The power of seeds to future proof our food system. That’s what we’re looking at in this show.
If you’ve ever tasted an heirloom vegetable or fruit, you’ll know it.
Somehow more delicious, more intense in flavour, the power of the heirloom seed grown in healthy soil is something everyone deserves to connect with.
Ambre Whatley joins us – naturopath, herbalist and CEO of Eden Seeds Australia, to inspires us with:
How easy it is to take part in seed saving and swapping
How important it is to preserve heirloom seeds and their stories
How our corporate food system benefits few in the longrun and what we can all do to fall in love with and defend the right to save seeds into the future.
What some of the stories are behind some of Ambre’s favourite seeds – “The Mortgage lifter” the “Mostola Wild Goose Bean” and more.
Join us. It’s a good-for-the-soul, people and planet show for us all as we unite in our love of food and the right to nutrition, affordable healthy food for all.

About Ambre Whatley
Ambre Whatley is a naturopath (BHSc) and herbal medicine practitioner who brings a unique dual perspective as both a clinician and agricultural seed steward. She is CEO of Eden Seeds, one of Australia’s oldest heirloom seed companies, and works daily at the intersection of biodiversity, agriculture, and clinical health. Based in Southeast Queensland, Ambre has decades of experience facilitating community workshops and educational programs that cultivate connection between people, plants, and place. She teaches practical herbalism and community health, focusing on reconnecting people with food and medicine from soil to apothecary. Her work spans clinical practice, leading seed saving initiatives, and delivering public education, giving her a rare perspective on how health and biodiversity are inseparably linked. She is passionate about safeguarding food and medicinal diversity, teaching the benefits of nature connection, and bridging the gap between naturopathic practice and the agricultural systems that sustain it.

About Waters Co.
The biggest discount WatersCo have done that I can remember this month through to December 15th. I got my first WatersCo Jug 14 years ago now, and these days we have the mini water and jug for travel/camping options, and the big Bio1000 10L benchtop for our cooking and drinking every day.
They take everything you don’t want out, remineralising the filtered water to give you a deeply hydrating & delicious water to enjoy.
I also love that the mini cartridges that fit in both jug and mini waterman can be opened; the insides go into the garden or compost, and the cartridge goes to curbside recycling!
The benchtop refill filters seem ex-y, but on an annual cost calculation, it’s the most economical I’ve found for this level of filtration that includes metals, PFAS, BPAs, fluoride up to 99.99% (independently tested), pesticide/herbicide residue, viruses/bacteria and chlorine…
Enjoy the super generous 15% off this month – we’ve never done this big a 15% off before on filters so it’s a very good time to jump in if you’ve got this on your list.
