LISTEN TO THIS WEEK’S SHOW ON iTUNES, STITCHER OR SPOTIFY OR LISTEN RIGHT HERE:

Love our new show tune in the intro/outro? It’s talented Australian independent artist Melanie Horsnell’s song “Birds”. So proud to support this wonderful Aussie artist and have her grace the show with her wonderful words and song!

And onto this week’s show!

Welcome to our Low tox Mind mini series for the next 5 shows. First up, the one and only and exceptionally delightful Bruce Lipton PhD – the list of his accomplishments as a biologist, university lecturer and as someone who bridges science with spirit is miles and miles long which we’ve included in the show notes. He is the author of the groundbreaking book The Biology of Belief as well as Spontaneous Evolution, Our Positive Future and a Way to Get There From Here and more recently The Honeymoon Effect. In today’s interview, I ask Bruce “Who are we and how did we get here” to begin with and from there we go on to discuss the 6th mass extinction and how to prevent it, how to have longer honeymoon periods in love and life, how to cultivate belief and the positive effect it has on our biology and so much more.

Enjoy the show and all show notes can be found over at lowtoxlife.com/podcast with our show sponsor offer details too. Alexx

The Framework for the discussion:

A look at his career evolution / personal growth from starting as a cell biologist and moving into studying quantum physics: What was it like to give your first lecture on this ‘new age out there stuff’ to colleagues who’d known you in one way to that point? And how did applying what you learned in your personal life impact you – what sorts of things did you notice that made you think “We’re onto something, here”; Your research at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, between 1987 and 1992, revealed that the environment, operating through the membrane, controlled the behavior and physiology of the cell, turning genes on and off – which went onto to become known as the study of epigenetics, after decades that the genes controlled the outcomes – was groundbreaking but for anyone who hasn’t heard about epigenetics yet or may have but is too scared to ask, how do you help everyday people understand what this is and how it applies to them in their every day? You say medicine is miraculous but it’s confined to ‘trauma’ – what do you mean by that? How has epigenetics changed how we deal with and treat cancer? And then a few more questions on the biology of belief and how we can effect positive change in our lives…
