  • Given we’ve  discussed the gut as a general topic on the show with you before Vincent, I’d love to structure this time’s chat with a  “top things linked to gut health and how/why” and a 5 things you can do from today that will set you on a happy-gut path (and of course I’ll ask for a ‘bonus tip’ which can be your new gut smart protocol book so people know they can buy the book and more forward if they want that support) 
  • We spoke the first time you were on the show about your personal past poor gut health + how it was part of the catalyst for making you want to help people towards having a Happy Gut in your practice and the title of your first book. Today, I wanted for us to explore the top five areas impacted by an unhappy gut and how that feels/looks symptom-wise, and then of course look at some of the things we can do. 
    • How are neurological conditions such as brain fog, dementia, OCD/mental health challenges related to our gut health? 
    • How are energy and metabolism linked to gut health? 
    • How can various environmental toxins impact our gut health? 
    • How are allergies related to the gut? 
    • How are autoimmune diseases linked to gut health? 
    • How are our hygiene habits linked to gut health? 
    • How is what’s happening on our skin, giving us clues as to what’s happening in the gut? 
  • So given so many things are linked to and can be impacted by poor gut health, we gotta fix it, right? But there seem to be so many different ways doctors talk about how to do this online – how can we feel empowered to move forward and make our gut health journey our own?
  • And if we were to start focusing on 5 key things we could do to move the needle in the right direction, what would they be for you?

  • If someone wanted to work with a practitioner on their gut health, which can be a minefield of its own in terms of finding the right person – what are some of your ‘audition questions’ you’d share for people to ask a prospective practitioner when finding someone to work with? 
  • You have a section in your book on harnessing the power of the vagus nerve to optimise digestive harmony – can you share a couple of your favourite vagal toning exercises that you personally do/recommend to patients?
