And on this week’s show!

On this show, I have a conversation about what it feels like to have a little-understood and vastly under-supported illness due to mould toxicity and I do that with a fellow Aussie who’s been through it as well, Corbin. We are super open about what it’s been like along the way – the good, the bad, the ugly, the silver linings, and the constant challenges. We don’t hold back. When Aussie, Corbin Halliday – working as a hairdresser at the time – was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), the result of unwitting exposure to mycotoxins from black mould, he was suffering from serious health complications such as chronic migraines, high blood pressure, and nerve pains. After being diagnosed with CIRS, Corbin was motivated to adopt a lifestyle free of chemicals, including toxic-free skincare. He researched all of the products he was using and realised there was a gap in the market for organic and toxic-free skincare and self-tanning products – hence Three Warriors was born, which has developed into a multi-million $ Aussie brand coveted by celebrities and lots of people in the low tox community.

About Corbin Halliday

When Aussie (Hobart) Corbin Halliday – working as a hairdresser at the time – was diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS), the result of unwitting exposure to mycotoxins from black mould, he was suffering from serious health complications such as chronic migraines, high blood pressure and nerve pains.
After his third hospital visit, his blood pressure had become so high, he was close to a stroke and he was soon after diagnosed with Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, a response resulting from toxin build up, from household mould and chemicals.

10 years on he still battles with regular inflammatory response flare ups, these range from debilitating migraines, high blood pressure ( taking medication ) brain fog and chronic fatigue. He has to be incredibly careful of spaces he inhabits on the daily. To date, Corbin has spent $45,000 on treatment across a 10-year period and spent over 200 hours in a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy tank in Melbourne, IV therapy treatments, binders to help bind the toxins out of his system.

Corbin will visit Poseidonia Healthcare Facility in Cyprus, undergoing a 4-week treatment 8 hours a day, with 5 doctors working on him who specialise in Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, IV ozone therapy, full body MRI scans to gauge inflammation levels, stem cell therapy. The treatment facility has seen many famous clients – like Justin Bieber.
After being diagnosed with CIRS, Corbin was motivated to adopt a lifestyle free of chemicals, including toxic-free skincare. He researched all of the products he was using and realised there was a gap in the market for organic and toxic-free skincare and self-tanning products – hence Three Warriors was born, which has developed into a multi-million $ Aussie brand coveted by celebrities like brand ambassador Sonia Kruger, Miley Cyrus, Rikki-Lee Coulter, Rita Ora and model Ashley Hart.

  1. Thank you both for sharing great podcast.

I have been through the same journey last few years due to mould we didn’t know we had and went from super fit to basically bed ridden.
I’m broke, overwhelmed and still having constant health issues but definitely on the way out of this nightmare.

Sharing this with everyone. Maybe they will have a little more understanding of how bad this is and how much it effects your whole life. Stay safe (and mould free!)

  2. I love this podcast. I have audio processing disorder and was wondering where I could find the transcripts for certain episodes. I am suffering from mould and wanted to write down some of the information but couldn’t hear some of the words properly. Thank you again! Keep em’ coming!
